Store Bought Natural Cleaning Products

Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Lemon Verbena Countertop Spray

I recently purchased Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Lemon Verbena Countertop Spray.  Prior to my purchase, I read several reviews of this product.  It appeared that people either loved it or absolutely hated the product. The scent of the spray seemed to be what evoked such strong emotions on both sides. I found the spray to have a wonderful, powerful citrus scent leaving my home smelling fresh and clean.  I did not find the scent to be overpowering at all. If you think you may not enjoy the lemon verbena scent, this particular countertop spray is also available in lavender and geranium scents.  This spray can be used on any non-porous surface. All of the ingredients in the product are biodegradable.  I purchased this product online at what I thought was a very affordable price of $4.99 per 16 oz. bottle.   Mrs. Meyer’s website also has a store locator where you can search for a local retailer.  This company also makes environmentally friendly laundry detergent, pet products, baby products and many other household cleaners.  If you’re interested in saving some money on these products, you can visit their website and sign up for Mrs. Meyer’s emails and get a coupon for $5.00 off of a $25.00 or more purchase.  I will be trying more of these products in the future and sharing my findings with you, so STAY TUNED! If you’re interested in learning more about this company, their philosophy and the wide variety of products offered, just click the link below.

Seventh Generation Dish Detergent

Going green is easier now than ever. Let’s face it, green is in. Just a few short months ago, it was a challenge at times to locate all natural, eco-friendly products at your local grocery store, particularly if you reside in a rural area. Now it seems with each passing week, there is a much greater selection of earth friendly products to choose from. It is my goal to slowly but surely make my way through as many of these products as possible, and then bring my findings to you.Seventh Generation seems to have been one of the first companies on the green scene. When anything slightly resembling an eco-friendly product was nearly impossible to find, it seems that Seventh Generation products could be found on your grocer’s shelves. They offer a complete line of non-toxic household products, everything from laundry detergent to chlorine-free baby diapers and wipes. I recently purchased their Lavender Floral & Mint Natural Dish Liquid, as well as their Free & Clear Automatic Dishwashing Detergent.  Both items are non-toxic, biodegradable and hypo-allergenic.  The dish liquid had a wonderful, soft fragrance. The free & clear automatic dishwashing detergent was of course, fragrance free which is great for those that may be sensitive to fragrances. Both products do a wonderful job of cleaning and work just as well as any traditional detergents I’ve used in the past. Let’s face it, as much as we all want to use non-toxic products, we do want them to perform well.  You can purchase these Seventh Generation Products with confidence in their cleaning abilities and feel good about the favor you’re doing our planet!
If you’re interested, Seventh Generation has an excellent website showcasing their products and providing consumers with a lot of great information. Their site even provides a place to print coupons for their products. Stay tuned for more green cleaning product reviews!
